Reservations Required, As The L.A. Zoo Reopens To The Public

Taking every precaution possible, during the ongoing pandemic...I'm happy to hear that the L.A. Zoo is indeed REOPENING!! Closed down off and on throughout most of last year, then again since the beginning of December...the zoo and its sweet animals can once again, receive visitors starting Tuesday Feb. 16th. Advanced reservations made on their website are REQUIRED, so that zoo officials can control capacity and offer plenty of space for social distancing. Zoo members get in FREE but STILL need to make a reservation. Also, for the time being, in-person presentations by zoo staff, talks and events will be temporarily suspended. Please check lazoo.org/reopening for ALL the specifics, including new safety protocols and pricing.

Reservations will be available starting Saturday, February 13 at noon. The last reservation time available each day is 3 p.m, and the last entry at 3:45 p.m. Please be aware that we start putting animals in for the night at 4 p.m.
