NEVER propose to someone very publicly unless you KNOW they will say "yes"!
The jumbotron at Fenway Park showed one man getting down on one knee and proposing to his girlfriend. But then suddenly the screen went dark.
Videos of the couple, taken on cell phones, after the proposal, show the couple just standing and talking. You can see Fenway's camera man awkwardly trying not to look at the couple, who seem to be having a serious conversation.
I guess she said "no." Ouch!
