Los Angeles Makes April 25th Officially 'La La Land' Day

I think it's safe to say A LOT of people are obsessed with the movie 'La La Land.'

Well Los Angeles Mayor, Eric Garcetti took it to a whole new level when he announced that he will declare April 25th 'La La Land' Day in honor of the Oscar-winning film.

I mean this only makes sense considering LA is the setting of the movie.

The dedication ceremony will take place that day at 8:30am on the steps of LA City Hall.

A jazz band will be performing at the ceremony and aerial dancers will perform a dance medley inspired by the film.

The film's director Damien Chazelle, composer Justin Hurwitz, production designers David and Sandy Wasco, choreographer Mandy Moore, and jewelry designer Kyle Chan will all be in attendance.

'La La Land' will be released on DVD and Blue-ray on April 25th as well!
