Our friends at Tacos & Tequila nailed it when it comes to serving up Tequila! It's national Margarita day and to celebrate Brittany and I are heading out to Morongo Casino for just that. If you're not into margarita's, but can throw back some Tequila then their cocktails will seal the deal.
Their cocktails are hand-crafted with fresh ingredients and mixed to perfection with top shelf tequila. Besides their T&T Top Shelf margarita, here are our top two cocktails to try:
Bloody Maria - If you're feeling spicy, go for the Bloody Maria. It's a take on the classic bloody mary featuring corralejo reposado tequila , fresh cucumber, chipotle tabasco, olive juice and a gusanos salted rim. served with a green olive, panela cheese and tomato skewer. Kick brunch off with a couple of these and you'll feel much better from a night out at the club.
Blueberry Smash - This drink looks deciving. At first glance you might think that this drink is sweet with blueberry and mint, but after you take a sip you'll get a zing of spice sending your tastebuds into confusion. The Blueberry Smash combines milagro silver tequila with the freshness of lime and mint, muddled with blueberries and topped with the perfect amount of spice from ginger beer.
T&T Top Shelf - You can never go wrong with a classic margarita and the Tacos & Tequila signature margarita is made with jose cuervo tradicional reposado, organic agave nectar, grand marnier, and a delicious housemade margarita mix squeezed daily from fresh limes. It's served on the rocks with a rim of our house salt mixture.
