Hi there, it's Shelley. You should know that music is and always has been my life. It's literally been the driving force behind many of my dreams, aspirations & career achievements. I grew up dreaming of becoming a Grammy award winning singer. In fact, I was always in choir from elementary school to college & I use to perform around my hometown of Houston, Texas. I even got into radio, not because I wanted to be a radio superstar, but because it allowed me to work around music! Growing up, my favorite artists were Prince & Michael Jackson...But I've always loved all kinds of music. I grew up on R&B and Hip-Hop on the radio, then became a fan of Rock & Pop music from watching MTV...back when they actually played music videos, of course. My college radio station was a Jazz station, so I became a Jazz fan & became obsessed with Nat "King" Cole as a result. But there are so many artists that I've loved over the years...the list is too long. My favorite career highlights include interviewing Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Celine Dion, Run DMC, Will Smith & Lenny Kravitz, as well as singing the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden. I feel very blessed everyday that I get to play music & talk on the radio for a living. What a dream come true!

I kid you not...I took that breathtaking picture of the sun
setting in The Hamptons on the 4th of July weekend

in TriBeCa after his performance.  We took
that pic in his dressing room.  He had a whole fridge
full of Red Bull, so I asked him if I could have one.
    He said yes!

I hosted the Revlon Run/Walk fighting women's cancers for years.
Whenever I'd hit the stage, they would show me on the iconic
