Last week, I was super excited to get an invite to a private screening of the new Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl commercial starring Kate Upton!  So a few of us media types gathered at Ainsworth Park Avenue to see the commercial before everyone else sees it during the Super Bowl.  There was a Kate Upton video that went viral last week, but contrary to what most people thought, that was not the official Kate Upton Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl Commercial...that was only a teaser.

That's Steve Cannon, President of Mercedes-Benz USA, welcoming us to the screening.

And that's Geoff Day, Director of Communications, Mercedes-Benz USA.  Geoff had on some fabulous Gucci shoes that I absolutely LOVED! But I digress, lol.  Geoff introduced us to Sebastian Beacon, the NY based, English actor who plays the "hero" character in the Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl commercial.  Here are a few pictures from the actual commercial, along with pictures I took of the commercial during the screening...

Sidebar...I was pleasantly surprised to see that Usher's in the commercial!

And the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA sedan was also on display at the party.  A couple of guys & I spent about 15 minutes just staring at the CLA, discussing what guys will love about the car.  Btw, Kate Upton & Usher aren't the only celebs in the commercial.  There's also a mystery man in the ad.  I say "mystery man" because when they screened the commercial for us, they pixelated his face in such a way that we couldn't discern who he was...

I was so trying hard to figure out who he was!  I guess I'll just have to wait to find out when the commercial plays during the big game! I really enjoyed myself at the event.  Since the big game is in New Orleans this weekend, it was only fitting that they decked the party out in beads & footballs...

And since the big game's taking place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, they also had an imprinting station on hand to put our names on the back of jerseys!

When I got home, I tried the jersey on & it fit perfectly!
