Ahhhhh, to be a rich celebrity with designer closets bigger than my apartment...Must be nice! Architectural Digest took cameras inside the closets of some celebs & shared the pics with us. Check em out...

The closet at the Bedford, New York, home of Ralph Lauren is outfitted with mahogany millwork,
giving the room the refined air of an English estate. The walls are covered in a dark-green baize
and a leather-upholstered bench provides a convenient perch for pulling on one of the many pairs
of riding boots that line the shelves.  (November 2004)

Mariah Carey's Mario Buatta-designed apartment in Manhattan features a luxurious dressing room
that resembles an airy boutique. All of the songstress's outfits are on display and arranged by color
and type, while an adjoining shoe room contains hundreds of her signature stilettos.  (November 2001)

At Woodside, Elton John's palatial English estate in Old Windsor, shelves were
built into the attic eaves to showcase the singer's astonishing collection of sunglasses,
which he has been amassing since the mid-1970s.  (May 2000)

Comedian Ellen DeGeneres and actress Portia de Rossi stored their respective
sneakers and high heels in the elegant closet of their Beverly Hills home, which
was revamped by decorator Melinda Ritz. The shelving was constructed of stained
walnut and the vintage sign was found at a flea market.  (November 2011)

Actress Brooke Shields's closet at her Greenwich Village home was built of
rift-sawn white oak by Brooklyn-based design/build firm MADE. The compact
space makes use of a rolling shoe rack and library ladder, helping to maximize
storage and accessibility.  (March 2012)
