Join us every Sunday night from 11pm to midnight as we start the new week with a rundown of what's going on in YOUR community.
Thanks to my guest/event producer Tom Whitman...who came on to talk ALL about the Dodgers first annual LGBT Night Out at Dodger Stadium on Friday, September 27 (vs. COL, 7:10 p.m.). This special event was designed by the Dodgers in partnership with Tom and Flip Events. "We welcome all fans to Dodger Stadium throughout each season," said Dodger Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Lon Rosen. "We are especially proud to welcome and recognize the LGBT community of Los Angeles, an integral part of the city and of the Dodgers community."
LGBT Night Out at Dodger Stadium will feature a celebrity first pitch, the national anthem performed by a special guest with the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles. September 27 also includes Friday Night Fireworks with music by DJ Manny Lehman. Fans are invited on to the field immediately following the game for the fireworks show.
"The Dodgers have been standing on the right side of history from the days of Jackie Robinson through today," said Whitman, Senior Vice President Flip. "LGBT Night Out on September 27 will be an amazing night for baseball fans, for the LGBT community and everyone who is true blue."

Join us Sat. September 28th 2013 Fundraiser Launch at the DAC Gallery Los Angeles to celebrate the partnership of ECF Artists and Amazon Art!
|Description: The Downtown Art Center (DAC) Gallery is pleased to announce the fundraising launch event for our Amazon Art partnership. Hundreds of artworks will be available for purchase in the gallery as we celebrate this new collaboration. The DAC is one of a limited number of galleries across the country selected to participate in the new Amazon online art sales initiative. As the exclusive representative of over 140 artists with special needs from ECF Art Centers, in addition to exhibiting local and international fine artists, the DAC distinguishes itself by creating a meeting point of diverse communities and practices. More than 500 original pieces created by ECF Art Center artists are available for purchase at www.ECFonAmazon.com. To help you experience a working art studio, this year we will be conducting special tours of the workspace connected to the DAC Gallery where ECF Art Centers artists develop their body of work. In small groups led by Art Centers staff, you will have the opportunity to see the space in its working mode, as well as many pieces that are still in the process of being developed.
