Kelly Clarkson has never been one to publicly discuss her dating life, mainly because she keeps insisting that she doesn’t have one. But now the singer who once declared herself ‘Miss Independent’ has confirmed that she has a man, rumored to be Brandon Blackstock, the manager of ‘The Voice‘ mentor Blake Shelton and stepson of Reba McEntire.
“I do, I have a new boyfriend,” Clarkson said during an interview with Toronto’s CHFI radio. “Well, not a new one — I haven’t dated in a while.”
Contrary to some reports, Clarkson never mentioned the name of the lucky guy during the chat, but she acknowledged that he works in the music business, which is a major convenience.
“He understand how much I work and I understand his stuff, because he’s in the business. It’s just easier.”
Blackstock was photographed with Clarkson, Shelton and McEntire at last month’s Warner Music Group Grammy Celebration. Brandon is the son of Narvel Blackstock, who serves as Clarkson’s manager. http://gotcountryonline.com/?p=14768
