Katy Perry, Coldplay, Goo Goo Dolls, Maroon 5, Pink, Train, Gwen Stefani & No Doubt, Foo Fighters, SEETHER, U2, Lincoln Park, Paramore, Five For Fighting, John Mayer, Smashmouth and more...I am still obsessed with some fun 'ol school bands like Hall & Oates, Michael McDonald, Fleetwood Mac, EW&F, the BeeGees, Journey & Steve Perry SOLO-rules too, The Eagles, Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra and big hair 80's music! Bon Jovi, Poison & Rick Springfield anyone?
Katy Perry may be present-day pop royalty, but she gave the classic rock crowd quite a surprise by popping up at a Rolling Stones concert Saturday night (May 11). From the Met Gala(above) to a Stones stage, the singer showed up for the Las Vegas date of the British legends’ 50 & Counting Anniversary Tour to perform their classic “Beast of Burden.” When in Rome, right? Perry hopped on stage at Vegas’ MGM Grand and delivered a rendition of the Some Girls track. And as you can see up top, she was grinding up on Mic Jagger during the performance as she took to her website to brag about it, saying she “gyrated” on the living legend. How many people can say they dry humped Mic Jagger (okay, probably a lot). Katy P isn’t the first person to surprise fans on the Rolling Stones tour. Gwen Stefani, Keith Urban, Tom Waits and John Fogerty have all showed up for the party...haa but Katy did great and looked HOT! ;)
