HOLLYWOOD VIP ALL-ACCESS PASS TO NEW YEARS EVE 2013: So maybe you’re a little ADD and you know it. Going to only 1 party on New Years Eve this year just isn’t going to do it for you. Fortunately, we’ve got the solution. It’s called the Hollywood VIP NYE 2013 Pass and it gets you full access to SIX [6] different parties! That’s right. We’re talking Geisha House, MyStudio, Egyptian Theater Courtyard, Eden, Blok, and even afterhours at Playhouse. And guess what? All of those parties are open bar for your drinking pleasure. MAX Entertainment's annual New Year's Eve Ball 2012 takes their Vegas-style New Year celebration to the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. There will be multiple rooms with many DJs, performance artists and a midnight countdown show and balloon drop.

The Queen Mary in Long Beach hosts its annual New Year's Eve all over the ship. Your ticket includes admission, fireworks and access to 7 entertainment venues including four live music venues and Disco Lounge. This year's music lineup includes funk, blues, jazz, swing, rockabilly, a DJ and more. There's a separate Brazilian New Year's Eve Party also on the ship for a separate ticket.

Universal City Walk has added to their huge outdoor New Year's Eve Countdown Bashthis year, incorporating the Waterworld and Gibson stages inside Universal Studios Hollywood. The event features live music and DJs beginning at 9 pm with a simulcast of the New York City ball drop, and fireworks viewable from all concert areas at midnight. The event is no longer free. The high parking rates include admission or you can take the Metro or a shuttle and pay a per person admission charge.
When: 9 pm - 12:30 am, special parking and admission prices begin at 4 pm
Where: Universal City Walk, at the top of Universal Studios Blvd. off the 101 Freeway.
Tickets: $15 for ticket only, $55 including self parking, $65 for valet. Free for kids under 48" tall

Together as One is an 18-and-over event that will be back in LA this year at the Shrine Expo Hall. They're also throwing a pre-NYE party the night before with a 2-night party option.

New Year's Eve in Downtown Long Beach is a combination of a free family-friendly party on the waterfront with music and trackless train rides culminating in 9 pm fireworks celebrating New Year on the East Coast. After 9, the party moves over to Pine Avenue where the festivities continue with dancing in the street until West Coast New Year and on to 2 am. At midnight, you can see fireworks off the Queen Mary from the waterfront.
