So when we said Jason Mraz was doing a private performance we meant it! It took place at a private location here in LA, and it was an actual dress rehearsal for his VH-1 Storytellers segmet! We had about 60 winners come and watch him do a 10 song set, with intimate stories to go with each song! Even though Jason was losing his voice, he still managed to finish his rehearsal and left the whole MYfm team with our jaws on the ground. IT WAS AMAZING! Because it was "private" we couldn't take photos or video tape the performance BUT Jason sat with MYfm's Lisa Foxx before he hit the stage to give us the inside scoop as to what is going on! The house was packed last night at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood! Drinks & music were flowing. To start us off we had Haley Reinhart do a set! Haley was in the top 3 last season of American Idol...she was AMAZING ( & rocked some sassy pink heels)! Next up we were dazzled by Graffiti6, a simple yet WONDERFUL performance by the man himself Jaime Scott! To close out the night, the men of Hot Chelle Rae took the stage & swept us off our feet! And like, you guys. They were so attractive it was damn near distracting. ha! All of this courtesy of RCA, Capitol and Interscope Records. If last night was a precursor to the direction music is going...we are totally on board!
