I got this easy recipe from a friend and HAD to pass along to you guys..
They are EASY, HEALTHY, and most importantly so so tasty!!!
WHAT YOU NEED:
2 big handfuls of hazelnuts (about 1 cup)
2 big spoonfulls of raw cacao powder
5 Medjool dates, pitted
2 spoonfuls of rice syrup
1 - Preheat oven to 180 degrees & roast nuts for about 15 minutes. Turn oven off & let them sit for about 10 minutes. (To really get the hazelnut flavor it's best if you do this the night before.)
2 - Once cooled, rub the skins off (as long as you remove the majority you are all good)
3 - Process the nuts & the cacao powder in a food processor until resembles crumbs.
4 - Add the dates & rice syrup if using!
5 - Taste - If you think you need more of anything toss it in!
6- The mixture should start to clump - start clumping it into small balls
7 - Toss them in the fridge for an hour or so (or freezer for 20 minutes)
