I'm sure you've already heard about this drama...A Harlem woman is suing MAC Cosmetics, claiming that she got oral herpes via a cold sore after being sold a used tube of RiRi Woo lipstick at a recent Rihanna concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Well apparently that lawsuit hasn't tarnished Rihanna's relationship with MAC because they're already additional items from their Rihanna summer makeup collection. And who could blame them...The RiRi Woo lipstick was a huge success, even selling out hours after debuting. This full Rihanna/Mac collection is called RiRi Hearts Summer...
According to the New York Daily News:
Starting June 20th, The RiRi Woo, Heaux and RiRi Boy lipsticks will be joined by a Hibiscus Kiss blusher and the Barbados Girl Lustre Drops highlighter.
Further fall and holiday collections from Rihanna will hit MAC stores later in the year, adding extra shades of lipstick, false eyelashes and nail polish to the line-up.
Hi there, it's Shelley. You should know that music is and always has been my life. It's literally been the driving force behind many of my dreams, aspirations & career achievements. I grew up dreaming of becoming a Grammy award winning singer. In fact, I was always in choir from elementary school to college & I use to perform around my hometown of Houston, Texas. I even got into radio, not because I wanted to be a radio superstar, but because it allowed me to work around music! Growing up, my favorite artists were Prince & Michael Jackson...But I've always loved all kinds of music. I grew up on R&B and Hip-Hop on the radio, then became a fan of Rock & Pop music from watching MTV...back when they actually played music videos, of course. My college radio station was a Jazz station, so I became a Jazz fan & became obsessed with Nat "King" Cole as a result. But there are so many artists that I've loved over the years...the list is too long. My favorite career highlights include interviewing Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Celine Dion, Run DMC, Will Smith & Lenny Kravitz, as well as singing the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden. I feel very blessed everyday that I get to play music & talk on the radio for a living. What a dream come true!
