TMZ is reporting Justin Bieber and his many famous neighbors are most likely angry because a reality TV producer is trying to shoot a show inside their gated, guarded community! The residents of "The Oaks" in Calabasas received a newsletter informing them about a new television series called “Calabasas 91302.'" The Oaks is home to a TON of stars: like Justin Bieber, Travis Barker, Romeo, Kourtney Kardashian, the Jackson Family and many others. In this letter, the producer says he wants to give viewers "an inside look at the true Calabasas life and all that it entails". He is still looking to cast 4 to 5 families.
If producers and FOX executives had their way, Jennifer Lopez could have returned to “American Idol” and replaced Mariah Carey halfway through the season! The show reportedly started making plans to make the switch after ratings started to fall. And if you watch the show, you know that Mariah kind of rambles on in her critiques and doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The plan was allegedly stopped when Mariah’s legal team threatened to sue if she was replaced. A rep for FOX said the network has “no comment” on the allegations.
Ryan Lochte’s new reality show “What Would Ryan Lochte Do” premiered over the weekend on E! – but Ryan is now saying he was offered a spot on two other shows before that. He actually turned down two of the biggest shows on TV: The Bachelor and Dancing With the Stars. Ryan says ABC approached him asking if he would be interested in being the next Bachelor or a competitior on Dancing with the Stars. But, he decided it would be better to have his own reality show and just put it all out there and do it his own way.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might be moving in with Kris and Bruce Jenner! Turns out, they may not have a roof over their heads when their baby is born. TMZ says Kim's $5 million dollar Beverly Hills home has been sold, and she needs to be out by August 1st. Then Kanye's $3.3 million Hollywood Hills house is about to be sold. Contractors are working on their new home and there's NO WAY it'll be ready in time.
Gwyneth Paltrow can add one more thing to her list of accomplishments: World's Most Beautiful Woman. She was chosen by People magazine's latest lineup of celebrities. She took over after one of her best friends Beyoncé, who was honored by the magazine last year. Other stars who've made this year's list include Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Drew Barrymore, Kerry Washington, Jane Fonda, Kelly Rowland and Pink.
Ben Affleck has committed to living on $1.50 a day to bring awareness to global poverty. It’s part of the “Live Below the Line” anti-poverty campaign. Ben has pledged to live on just $1.50 of food and drink for five days. Sophia Bush and Josh Groban are also reportedly taking part in the challenge. The “Live Below the Line” campaign runs from April 29 to May 3.
